Canadian Professional Police Association (CPPA) The Canadian Professional Police Association (CPPA) is the national voice for 54,000 police personnel across Canada. Membership includes police personnel serving in 200 police services across Canada, from Canada's smallest towns and villages as well as those working in our largest municipal and provincial police services, and members of the RCMP, railway police, and first nations police personnel. Police Association of Ontario (PAO) Founded in 1933, the Police Association of Ontario (PAO) is the official voice and representative body for Ontario's front-line police personnel, and provides representation, resource and support for 65 police associations. Our membership is comprised of over 30,000 police and civilian members of police services.
